Submariners produced in the years 1974-1984, like this one, feature what collectors call 'maxi dials'. These dials are characterised by significantly larger lume plots. These Maxi dials were produced in five different variations. This particular watch features a so-called 'Mark III' Maxi dial, most known for its lume plots touching the hash marks on the minute track. For this reason, these dials are also referred to by collectors as 'Lollipop dials', due to the resemblance to the beloved children’s candies.This 5513 sports a 40 mm stainless steel case that is in great condition, with thick lugs and sharp lines.
