There is something so good about the proportions of the 166.009 — clean, understated and unmistakably 1960s Omega.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd this one has exactly the kind of dial I want to see. The \u003cstrong\u003esilver crosshair dial\u003c\/strong\u003e gives the watch a lot more character than a plain dial, with those long applied markers, sharp dauphine hands and beautifully balanced Seamaster typography. Add the date at 3 and you have one of the most wearable vintage Omega configurations there is.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003ecalibre 565\u003c\/strong\u003e inside is another big part of the appeal. A proper workhorse from Omega's golden period, with \u003cstrong\u003equickset date\u003c\/strong\u003e and automatic winding.
