Perpetual Watch Lover (PWL)
Seiko Cronos Linen Dial ref 14038
A seiko cronos with a beautiful case an unique dial. A linen dial like we have never seen before. Made in the early days of the iconic Taro Tanaka. Made in 1958 to be exact.
The seiko cronos is a handwinding watch that is in essence one of the technology breaking designs out there. It features a double screw down bridge for the balance. Something we see a lot in the late 70's since Rolex started using the same technique to bring a more robustness to their movements. Realise seiko was already applying this technology to their watches in 1958?8 A reliable piece of Japanese engineering that by far is one that every seiko collector should own.
The accuracy is vintage, this means it will differ up to 20s a day.
Sold with a perpetualwatchlover strap and a period correct seiko box.
