Omega Constellation 167.005 "Pie Pan" | Cal. 551 | Dog Leg Lugs | 1963 | Original Octagonal Crown | Beads of Rice Bracelet

In the golden age of Swiss watchmaking, few models captured the spirit of innovation and elegance quite like the Omega Constellation. By the early 1960s, Omega had solidified its position at the top of the chronometer game, producing watches that were not only accurate but beautifully engineered.

The Reference 167.005, introduced during this era, was designed by a young Gérald Genta, whose legacy would go on to define modern luxury watch design. With its sharply angular “dog leg” lugs, faceted “Pie Pan” dial, and timeless proportions, this Constellation became a blueprint for the brand’s high-precision aesthetic.

This particular piece dates to 1963, powered by the chronometer-rated Caliber 551, and fitted with a correct Omega Beads of Rice bracelet, completing the vintage package with period authenticity.
