969 Omega Seamaster Cosmic Ref. 166.026
A very attractive Omega Seamaster Cosmic Ref. 166.026 dating to 1969, featuring a beautifully preserved silver dial with a crisp vertically brushed finish and contrasting dark outer minute track.
The dial has a wonderfully clean and balanced appearance, with applied rectangular hour markers and matching black hands. The date aperture at 3 o’clock is framed in black, creating a strong contrast against the silver dial while retaining the understated elegance typical of Omega watches from this period. The Omega logo and Automatic text remain sharp, while the Seamaster Cosmic signature adds the distinctive character of this model.
The stainless-steel monocoque case measures approximately 35 mm and features the characteristic tonneau-shaped design of the Seamaster Cosmic. Its integrated lugs give the watch a particularly sleek profile on the wrist. The case retains its original brushed and polished surfaces, while the acrylic crystal adds to its authentic vintage appearance.
Inside is the automatic Omega calibre 565, a well-known 24-jewel movement with date function and quick date correction.
