IWC Mark XV – Rare IWC Milanese Bracelet

The IWC Mark XV is already one of the purest modern pilot watches ever made. Clean Arabic numerals. No date magnifier. No polished excess. Just clarity, balance and proportion.

But on the rare factory IWC Milanese bracelet, it becomes something else entirely.

The fine woven steel mesh transforms the watch from pure tool into understated elegance. It softens the military aesthetic without compromising the instrument feel. On the wrist, it wears fluid and close — lighter and more refined than the standard bracelet, yet unmistakably original IWC.

This example shows a small engraving on the caseback, discreet and honest. It has received service hands, maintaining strong legibility, and retains the correct T Swiss Made T dial, confirming tritium configuration as originally delivered. The dial remains clean and balanced — everything you want from a Mark XV.

A proper neo-classic pilot with rare bracelet configuration and everyday usability.

Technical Background

Produced from 1999 to 2006, the Mark XV refined the formula of the Mark XII with improved anti-magnetic protection and a robust automatic movement based on the ETA 2892 architecture (IWC calibre 37524). At 38mm, it remains perfectly proportioned — modern enough to wear daily, restrained enough to stay timeless.

Factory Milanese bracelet examples are uncommon and increasingly sought after, particularly when original to the watch.
