Here’s a refined, sharply executed piece of Omega’s golden era – the 1963 Omega Constellation ref. 167.005, commonly known among collectors as the “Dog Leg” for its distinctive angular lugs, designed by none other than Gérald Genta. Before sketching the Royal Oak and Nautilus, Genta brought his design language to Omega in the early 1960s, and this case is one of his most understated and elegant contributions.

The 35mm stainless steel case wears larger than its dimensions suggest, thanks to those sharply faceted lugs and slim bezel profile. It’s a versatile size, right in the sweet spot for vintage Constellations, and easily suits both modern and classic tastes.

This example carries the correct round Omega-signed crown, and the case lines remain crisp, with brushing and polished surfaces in honest vintage condition.
