Tudor oyster prince Ref 7965 from 1966

A 1966 Tudor oyster prince is available for grabs here today. This 34mm stunner has an automatic movement on the inside running on a cal 24xx from eta that got modified for added accuracy by Rolex. Adding things like the kif settings and a higher grade of finish is what makes these stand out. The oyster case is made out of 316L stainless steel, the dial, which has a beautiful layout with elongated hour markers is protected by a tropic 13 crystal. Truly a piece of history on the wrist. What makes this watch stand out is its subtle yet present engraving on the caseback.

GHH 1968. 

GHH is as far as I understand one of the oldest company is in the industrial production. A fun little detail here is that the serial dates back to 1966 yet the watch was delivered in 1968 to the employee who received this beautiful gift.
