along with the mission date and time: July 21, 1969 – 02:56 GMT.
This specific engraving was produced exclusively for the Apollo 11 25th Anniversary Speedmaster and only for a limited production period, making it significantly rarer than standard Speedmaster Professional casebacks.

This example is a 1999 production watch with a non-tritium (Super-LumiNova) dial, offered as watch only (no box or papers) and backed by a 2-year warranty.

Technical background

Powering the watch is Omega’s calibre 863, the rhodium-plated evolution of the legendary Lemania-based Moonwatch movement. Mechanically identical to the cal. 861 but finished to a higher standard, it remains one of the most robust and historically important manual chronograph movements ever produced.
