A classic vintage Datejust in one of the most desirable dial configurations Rolex offered during the early 1970s. This ref. 1601 combines the timeless two-tone Rolesor case with a beautifully aged champagne linen dial, giving the watch a remarkable amount of texture and warmth in changing light.

The pie-pan dial remains the defining characteristic of early Datejust references, and paired with the brushed linen finish it creates a far more refined and characterful appearance than a standard sunburst dial. Applied yellow gold markers and matching handset complete the monochromatic aesthetic perfectly.
