Tudor Prince Oysterdate Ref. 90500 — Serial 9192xx (Circa 1981)

Up for grabs is a beautifully preserved example of the Tudor Prince Oysterdate 90500, dating to approximately 1981, with serial 9192xx. This is a watch that captures the essence of vintage Tudor — a time when the brand was quietly building its identity under the shadow of the Crown, yet producing some of the most compelling daily wearers of the era.

Case & Dial
The stainless steel Oyster case, shared in heritage with Rolex, measures 34mm — perfect proportions for a vintage wristwatch that wears larger thanks to the polished bezel and classic lines. The original black dial is untouched, showing crisp white text and applied hour markers with warm tritium lume plots that have aged evenly. The "TUDOR PRINCE OYSTERDATE" signature sits proudly beneath the shield logo, complemented by the clean "ROTOR SELF-WINDING" text below.

Movement
Powering the 90500 is the reliable ETA 2784, a workhorse movement featuring automatic winding, a quickset date, and hacking seconds — all housed in a screw-down caseback. Recently inspected and running strong, this piece is ready to be enjoyed.

Bracelet/Strap
Comes fitted with a high-quality, period-appropriate brown leather strap with contrasting stitching — a tasteful pairing that emphasizes the vintage character of the watch.

Condition
Light surface wear consistent with age, but no major dings or deep scratches. Dial and hands are original, unmolested, and exceptionally well preserved. Crown is signed with the Rolex coronet, as expected from this era.
